The course covers the following:-
- Gas Safety legislation
- Gas emergency actions and procedures
- Characteristics of combustion
- Ventilation
- Installation of pipework and fittings
- Test for tightness
- Checking and/or setting meter regulations
- Identification of unsafe situations and use of emergency notices and warning labels
- Operation of and position of emergency isolation controls and valves
- Checking and setting appliance burner pressures and gas rates
- Operation and checking of gas safety devices and controls
- Flueing standards
- Flue testing
- Installation of open, balances and fan-assisted flue assemblies
- Establish existing gas supply and re-light appliances
- Domestic Appliance
Commerial Gas
3 Trades Training Commercial Gas courses are for existing engineers and new beginners entering into the commercial gas market. This includes change over and CCCN1 core. All commercial gas courses are in association with a main manufacturer who have three well equipped centres around the UK enabling them to deliver along with 3 Trades Training a comprehensive training course and assessments.
LPG
